Prestige Skin Achieves ISO 13485 Certification

We are proud to celebrate the success of Prestige Skin (www.prestigeskin.co.za), which officially attained its ISO 13485 certification in August 2025 after a focused 12-month journey with our team. 

The journey to certification 

Prestige Skin, a leading provider of medical aesthetic solutions, recognized the importance of aligning its operations with globally recognized quality standards. To achieve this, they partnered with Blended Business Solutions to design, implement, and embed a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 13485. 

Our role included: 

• Developing a tailored QMS aligned to ISO 13485 requirements and Prestige Skin’s business model. 

• Guiding management reviews to strengthen leadership oversight and strategic decision-making. 

• Delivering ISO 13485 awareness training to equip employees with knowledge and confidence in applying the system. 

• Preparing the company for audits by ensuring readiness for the internal audit, Stage 1, and Stage 2 certification audits. Blended Business Solutions actively participated by sitting in both the internal and external audits, providing support throughout the audit processes. In addition, Blended Business Solutions assisted in sourcing an independent internal auditor to guarantee impartiality and objectivity during the internal audit.

What made this journey remarkable was Prestige Skin’s commitment to not just achieving certification but embedding the QMS as an integral part of their daily operations. With Blended Business Solutions’ guidance, the system became more than a compliance exercise—it became a tool for continuous improvement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 

Results and ongoing impact 

Following the successful implementation of the management system, Prestige Skin was successfully certified under ISO 13485 during august 2025. Beyond certification, the QMS continues to: 

• Ensure consistent quality and compliance in all processes. 

• Strengthen risk management and regulatory readiness. 

• Improve customer confidence and trust in Prestige Skin’s products and services. 

• Provide a structured framework for continuous improvement and alignment with future growth.
